Background
He read architecture at Beirut Arab University and graduated in 1999. The Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut licensed him in 2001. His first decade is Lebanese and almost entirely architectural — residential buildings in Achrafieh, Verdun, Ain El Mreiseh and Ramlet El Bayda, drawn and taken through permit.
From the mid-2000s the commissions move outward: a hotel and business centre in Moscow, a hospital in Doha, a residence in Umm Al Quwain, then palaces, compounds and corporate headquarters in Riyadh and Jeddah. The Saudi Council of Engineers licensed him in 2013.
The Gulf work is delivery as much as design — full project design and build with FF&E, renovation and fit-out, and fit-out contracting for an international hotel operator. What grew across those two decades was not the size of the buildings but how much of each one he was answerable for. Operations, and then a managing directorship, are the same step taken once more.
